I have more than 25 years experience as a multimedia journalist, communication consultant, and writer/producer for print and the Web.
For two years I served as the writer, associate producer, host and narrator of Matter & Beyond, a television program exploring the philosophical and ethical dimensions of science and technology. Our episode about artificial intelligence received a Regional Emmy Award in the category of outstanding health and science programming in 2009.
In addition to writing news and feature stories for Gannett publications based in New Jersey, I develop internal communications stories and videos for Sanofi Research & Development, and have developed internal communications for a wide range of companies and organizations including: Novo Nordisk, Johnson & Johnson, Pharmacia, Pfizer, Watson Pharmaceuticals, Verizon, AT&T, Avaya, Ebru.tv, Financial Planning Magazine, AOL Patch.com and Weichert Realtors.
I earned a bachelor’s degree at New York University with a double major in journalism and political theory and a minor in philosophy. I also studied religious philosophy at Drew University Graduate School. In addition to my academic training, I studied video production and editing at Raritan Valley Community College with filmmaker Harry Hillard.

Item: “Matter & Beyond” looks quite wonderful. Did you know that if you switched to the “SUNDANCE” WP Theme you could hotlink these shows without charge. (SUNDANCE is, I think, is their only free video Theme. Otherwise you have to UpGrade. Switching Themes is very easy.)
Item: I see that you have done more than a few biography features for NJ Patch, NJ Monthly, and at least one book review for The Daily Record. (Placed on the Front Page! This has interesting implications for journalism in general…)
You might be interested in the story of local writer (of Summit, NJ) Yueh Goffin, who emigrated to America via China and Taiwan. She has recently published RIVERS OF LIVING WATER: A Visual Harmony Of The Four Gospels. It is a remarkable work of both craft and devotion. Her unique HORIZONTAL interlinear format, along with color-coding presents the Gospels, literally, in a new light.
